Arts
The VIA provided a wide range of enriching activities from drama to choir to music. The arts attracted thousands of spectators to Virginia State University to watch and judge the drama, choir and music festivals put on by African-American high school students from across the state of Virginia. The VIA provided an avenue for students who excelled in different activities to have an opportunity to showcase their skills, talents, and most importantly, be awarded for them.
